Considering we need to wait 3 Wednesdays to get the score back, does anyone know if exams sat mid- or late-December have a delay in score retrieval over the holidays (i.e. for my December 14th exam, should I count on January 2nd or 9th for the score back?)?

Just an update for anyone who views this thread in the future:

Took Step Dec. 14th and have not received the score by the fourth Wednesday (January 9th).

I guess if you take the exam before the holidays/New Year, expect the result after FIVE Wednesdays.

The USMLE website says that scores are not ever released the Wednesday after Christmas, so this might account for your delay.

Thanks for the FYI. I took the exam 12/20 so yesterday was the third Wednesday, but I guess I won't hold my breath.

Well I know for a fact no STEP1 test are administered during the first two weeks of January. I dont know how but that may effect when scoring is released?
Adding to holidays including Dec 24-25 and Dec 31-Jan 1st could all add up in a delay.
I've been calling for updates daily now.
