My spring semester grades are going to lower my 3.4 cGPA. Can I submit my official transcript to AACOMAS before my spring grades are added to my transcript without raising any red flags? The transcript lists the classes I am currently enrolled in and I meet all of the pre-req requirements. I am a non-trad student that will be graduating in the winter of 2025. Thank you!

The answer is technically yes, but then you must submit an academic update.

The practical answer is "why would you want admissions screeners to notice you submitted without your recorded spring grades?" Believe us that we will notice.

Also, at this point, wouldn't your registrar hold your transcripts until your spring grades are posted? It is commencement season, and registrars are pretty busy processing grades.

Be a good medical student: do it the right way the first time, even if you have to wait a little.

Thank you for the reply and the included insight. I'll hold off on applying until spring grades are included. Depending how finals go, my final grades will most likely disrupt my upward trend, hence the idea of applying early.
