Question about upcoming poster presentation

Hey all, I worked with a surgeon who submitted an abstract on robotic surgery, and wanted me to present a poster on it at a national meeting of the Society of Robotic Surgery later this year. How should I put this into ERAS? For now, I have it as a research experience, explicitily explaining that it is upcoming, and under publications as a poster presentation, is that acceptable? Since the presentation isn't until November, I just want PDs to know I have something coming down the pipe without sounding like it already happened.

Will they be publishing an online abstract of the poster ahead of time? If so, you could put that in.

Possibly, but they haven't yet, and I don't want to sit on my application just for them to post it. Should I keep it in, or just drop it?

Just put it in your research experience section. This isn't such a massive honor/accomplishment that it's going to make or break your app. Include a little statement that you'll be presenting it at a national meeting and call it good.
