Hi all - question for anyone who is familiar with Baylor's application process (referring to Baylor hybrid, not Army Baylor).
According to the requirements posted here - Program Admission Requirements - it says the following: "If cumulative GPA is less than 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, an applicant may still be eligible for admission if a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater has been achieved over the last 60 semester or 90 quarter hour credits of coursework."
Long story short, my cGPA is very low so I'm certain they'll be looking at my last 60 credits instead. Problem is my last 60 fall a bit below a 3.5 according to my own calculations. My prereq GPA will be over 3.5.
I'm wondering if my subpar cGPA will result in an automatic rejection or if Baylor considers both GPAs in their holistic review. Considering I'm a non-trad applicant, there's not a whole lot I can do to change my awful undergrad GPA from ~8 years ago. I took all of my prereqs post-bacc (within the last couple years) and have done my best to at least get my pGPA as high as possible.
I'm also banking on the fact that I have a decent GRE score, I'm an employee of an EIM partner (PT tech), and Baylor's program is still relatively new. Anyway, if anyone can offer insight into how they look at things, that would be greatly appreciated!
