I know there are millions of same question for that, but I just didn't find any of them like mine. I'm an non-traditional student who major in Electrical Engineering and took every class in 4 years college. But I found out that I want to become a dentist, so I started to choose some biology classes and chemistry classes in cc because it close to my house. So I finished like 1/3 to 1/2 pre-requisite in cc. Then choose other upper level class in 4 years college and get all A's now.I read some thread mention that dental school doesn't like if you took any cc credits. And it makes me nervous about my situation, I don't know do I need to retake all the class I took in cc or not.

I really appreciate any advice.
Thanks

you'll be okay.... there are a few schools around that will not accept your CC credits for pre-reqs, thats okay, just don't apply to those schools.

Most schools are tolerant of some cc credits.... whats important is, you take upper level biology courses at an actual 4-year university and ace them......And this obviously makes sense, if you 4.0 the cc classes but 3.0 the university classes, thats a red flag (right?)

Im usually one of those people who always recommends students to do their pre-reqs at a 4-year university and Im telling you you'll be okay. Stop worrying about it and good luck on your DATs
