Was the exam harder/easier than you expected?
What materials should I study for each subject?
Which sujects did the exam emphasize on?
Is it easy to pass Part II? I'm freaking out based on the HUGE thread of Part II failures :scared:

I've already shed light, but what-the-heck!
I thought the exam was much much harder than my two previous ones. I thought the ?s were unreasonable and for many of them, I could not find answers in released exams, decks, tufts, kaplan, mosbys, first aid! That was very frustrating, who knows where they're getting these ?s from!!!!
I thought pharm ?s were particularly hard because in my previous two exams they seemed pretty reasonable and easy and I never complained before, but my Dec. exam, the ?s were just plain crazy. Implantology ?s were also very hard, stuff I've never seen, not basic ?s. Perio, ortho and radiology ?s were also very hard. On the other hand, I thought operative was hard on my previous 2 exams, but this exam the ?s seemed much more reasonable. I also thought pt mgt and endo ?s were also easier than my previous exams. Some wonder if I used anything on this third try to help me pass and I did, I added the tufts material and the kaplan qbank. I honestly think that if I hadn't acquired them, I wouldn't have passed, period.
Based on your ?s, I would study decks for everything except pt mgt. They do a crappy job on this section, otherwise they're helpful. I would do the ASDA released tests starting from 91 on. Also add Tufts and Mosbys and read both of them COMPLETELEY! That should be sufficient. For pharm I would strongly suggest Tufts and for pt mgt I suggest Mosbys, both are excellent resources. Is it easy to pass? Well, not according to many, it seems that the numbers needed to pass are just getting higher and according to many it seems that in order to pass, one must score 340+!! It seems not that long ago, that number was a lot lower! It is definitely more difficult to score well on this exam, and it's just getting harder to pass, but still very doable. Basically you really have to put a lot of effort on this exam, not something you can slack off. Hope this helps and good luck.
