Hey there,

I was just wondering if any of you pharmacy students at Touro (CA) could give me a heads up on what kind of groups/volunteer organizations you guys have on campus? I would really like to work with an outreach tutoring group with high schools in Vallejo if there is one on campus. If one does not exist, how hard is it to start one's own organization on campus? I would love to help high schoolers in Vallejo with science since I know their high schools can use all the help they can get.

There is tutoring for high school kids available. I have received various emails about it, but am not involved so I can't really give you the details but I know that there's something definitely going on. As for groups/organizations, I believe you can go on www.tu.edu and find out. Once you start school or even before that, you'll receive lots of emails about these opportunities so no worries on that 🙂
