Question, need some advice

I am going to be on vacation Friday, I will be about 20 minutes away from a school I am waitlisted. Do you think it would be alright if I dropped by to check my status Friday morning?

i think you should stand outside their admin office and call them up. then if they give you any lip, you walk in while still talking on your cell phone. Oh yes, have a friend tape this.



I would jsut call them. since it is still 'pretty early.' if they beat around the bush (eg won't tell u anything) then you might want to stop by and as upfront. It'll be harder not to give you info if u go in person.

Try to make an appointment with the Dean of admissions to talk about your file. I am sure s/he would be happy to talk to you if they are not too busy. Or they could kick you out the do'.

I wouldn't bother them too much. There's a fine line between standing out in a crowd and crowding.
