Question regarding application for residency and LORs.

I am waiting on 2 important LOR's from department chairs to be uploaded. Is it a disadvantage to submit the application after sept 1st? (e.g sept 10th) in case they are late? or should I just submit it sept 1st and then somehow release those letters?

Submit the application. You can release the letters as they come in. You do NOT need to have everything done at once (many people get letters from their sub-i rotations uploaded in Sept. or even Oct.). Programs will download LORs, transcripts, deans letters, etc. on a rolling basis since they come in after the initial apps.
