Isn't the Duke website fun? Anyway, it appears as if they chopped all the whitespace (paragraphs, etc) from my essays when I preview them. Given that there are apparently two methods for entering the essays, has anyone found any way to avoid having an essay be turned into one giant paragraph? I have tried calling them this afternoon, but no one is in the office, even though the office is supposedly open. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

(can't wait till I have this beast finalized and I can move on with my life)

i love the duke website too. it's like a guessing game. you never know if it's going to work or not!

to answer your question: no, they purposely lump everything into one paragraph

Thanks for the info. Yeah, since I had a committee letter, I had the fun of creating two bogus rec. entries, just so I could submit my application. I should have gone with major historical figures or something, but I'm just not that imaginative. Duke secondary, I click submit now and hearby wash my hands of you!

thanks again stop.
