I am reapplying this cycle. In the spring I took physics 2 which I ended up getting a D in. I'm currently retaking it in the summer. When I checked my application I realized that PTCAS already has my transcripts from last year, not including my D.

Should I just esubmit now. And then during the academic update put down my D from the spring and including the grade from my retake summer class? I'm hoping that since my application is technically able to be submitted right now, schools will see my GPA before I got the D and that will help my chances.

Or should I just wait till this class is done and submit both the D and the grade for the retake? thank you for any advice

Is there any way you can wait to submit? Unless you'll miss any deadlines, I would absolutely wait until you get a grade above a C-.

The only thing is, right now ptcas has my transcripts BEFORE my D. So they'll calculate the GPA based on everything besides that. So would it be smarter just to send it in now? And then during the academic update, send my spring grade and my summer retake grade @kuhathee

Contact ptcas and ask them.

@tcpt theyre gonna probably tell me that I have to submit my spring grade because technically that's what I'm supposed to do before I submit. I just think it would look better if I submit without showing the D

If you know what you're "suppose to" do, you shouldn't be fishing for answers that will reinforce what you "should not" be doing. Be honest with the schools.
