Question

First I would say that you need to have a cold one with the homies and relax. You are in a better position than I am because your GPA is still repairable, while my undergrad gpa isn't. 🙁 What I would do is try and figure out what went wrong that lead you to not perform up to par; studying habits need fixing, or whether you had too much on your plate or that you just need a semester/year off. Only you will know the answer to this question.

By the way, why are you considering a postbac this early in the game? That actually concerns me a lot. You still have a significant amount of time to mount a comeback and even have a kickass or unique personal statement story from overcoming the odds.

Summary; Evaluate whatever is causing you to perform poorly. If it means taking several steps back & graduating later than expected, that's okay. It is better to re-strategize now than being in the position of having to do additional bs/the most years after you had long graduated. Trust me on this.
