Hey guys!
So I'm a little late riding into the application process. I have yet to take my GRE, write my personal statement, and get my references, so I'm a tad bit stressed. :/ I just created my PTCA about a few minutes ago. I'm a tad bit confused because PTCAs stresses the importance of submitting my application as soon as possible because processing can take up to 4-5 weeks. Now, the part I submit would include what? Because as aforementioned, I have yet to take the GRE, write my personal statement, and get my references/recommendations. Oh and gather my hours. (Oh boy, yeah I'm really behind actually) Are these things that I could submit later or would have to submit these as soon as possible? Sorry if my question is clear enough, but I hope y'all can help!
Thanks so much!

"You can and should e-submit your PTCAS application as soon as you are confident that you have filled it out completely and accurately. PTCAS will accept your letters of reference, transcripts, signed PT observation hours form, and payment regardless of the status of your application. The receipt of these documents does not affect whether you can e-submit." - PTCAS FAQ

"After you e-submit your PTCAS application, you may only make changes to the following items:
-Alternate name
-Mailing addresses
-Phone numbers
-E-mail addresses
-Password: Not transmitted to your designated PT programs.
-Designate additional PTCAS programs: No substitutions or deletions.
-Planned and in-progress courses: 1-time changes during the Academic Update only.
-New fall courses completed: 1-time changes during the Academic Update only.
-Reference contacts: You may not delete an evaluator from your application once PTCAS receives the
evaluator’s reference.
-PT observation hours: You add new PT experiences or updated planned and in-progress experiences at
any time. Programs may not consider update hours in the admissions process.
-GRE and TOEFL: You may add new test dates and scores at any time. Programs may not consider updated
scores in the admissions process." - PTCAS Handbook

Also, Keep in mind that it costs $140 just to apply to one school and then $40 for every school after that. Not to mention the schools you apply to have an application fee of usually somewhere around $50. If you don't feel like you are ready to apply this year, it might be wise to hold off, or at least look at some schools without rolling admissions and then take your time to really make sure you have your application buttoned down.
