Hi! I had a few questions leading up to the submission of my primary:
1) I have some shadowing hours where I shadowed clinical neuropsychology testing (for pre/post pediatric brain surgery purposes). However, the physicians handed me off to PhDs to shadow that particular part. Should I leave these off entirely, or should I still include them, just at the bottom with some "Other Clinical Observation" title? I did learn a lot from these experiences about patient care (specifically from the family interview), but MD/DOs were just not the people in the room. For reference, I still have 75+ hours of shadowing otherwise. With this, it would be about ~`100.
2) Should research-based Work & Activities description be more focused on what skills/ideas you took away from it, or more resume-styled and focused on your project/outputs/deliverables? Most of my W/A are focused on my objective performance/accomplishments rather than explaining what I've learned, other than hospice/shelter volunteering and my MME essays. Is that okay?
3) For an independent research project, can I list the contact as myself? I did two presentations @ conferences/summits, and I could list a mentor who found me through those projects, but technically this mentor never contributed or advised me on the research. Still, they could confirm my hours or output if needed.
