I have a few questions for those who has taken the test.

1. If I decided not to wear your jacket (or whatever), can I change my mind during the break and wear it for the second part?

2. If I finish PAT, say like 3 minutes left and don't wanna go over anything, can I just start taking break for 18 mins?

3. Can I ask for more laminated sheets (rather than just two)?

4. QR section starts immediately after I finish RC? Or, is it like Topscore where you have to click "ok" or something to go to the next section?

5. If my marker runs out, can I ask for new ones during exam time? Or, I have to wait until break?

2) No.
3) Yes.
4) Immediately
5) Yes. (you're stressing out too much)

2) No. Really? I didn't do this, but I don't see why you couldn't...
3) Yes. You can ask for more sheets? I didn't know that, that would've helped, I had to erase so many times...
4) Immediately
5) Yes. (you're stressing out too much)

See above.

On question five, you can ask for more markers but you'll waste precious time. Just make sure you cap them after use and you should be fine.

1) Yes, in fact if you want to pick it up quickly in the middle of the section you can also do that. Just keep in mind that you'll have to sign in and out all while your time is running.
2) Yes you can.
3)No way. They are very strict about the two laminated sheets. I also asked if we can use scrap paper instead to which they also said no.
4) Once you hit end section or your times runs out, whichever comes first, then and only then you move on to the reading section.
5) I asked if I could pick up an extra marker and they said that would be alright.

I'm taking it some time next month and I personally visited the center to get these answers. I recommend you do the same, as some centers are more strict about their rules than others.

I guess it depends on the testing center. The proctor at my facility was pretty anal about only giving me 2 sheets and 2 markers.

IIRC the rules say you can't take off or add additional clothing for the duration of the test. If you go in wearing a jacket, you have to keep it on the whole time. If you don't have one, you can't bring one in the middle.

As for an early break, yes you can get up and leave at any point during the exam. You're just on the clock. If you want the bonus time though, make sure you don't end your section. If you get up and let the clock run down, you get all that time in addition to the break time. If you end the section, you're stuck with a premature 15 minute break.

The entire test is timed. Even if you touch absolutely nothing for 4 hours, the test will cycle through the Sciences, PA, break, RC, QR.

Where are you taking it?

Thank you guys for your answers. I guess it really depends on the location of the testing center...

Random related question...do we get erasers or are we expected to use our hands?
