Hey Everyone,

A few Questions:

1) Do classes taken in the MPH program count towards your science GPA? The reason I ask this is because I see that a lot of people here have completed a MPH and I was wondering if that benefits your application in any way?

2) Do classes taken in a Neuroscience Masters program count towards your science GPA?

I am graduating next spring and I am considering applying to a graduate program considering I will be left with a gap year and I feel like it would be more useful to spend two years in a masters program versus waiting a year to see if I get accepted into a school or not. I am planning on taking the DAT at the end of summer, so ultimately it'll come down to that considering my GPA isn't that great. Right now I'm at a 3.4 oGPA and my science GPA is a little under 3.0 but I still have a good amount of science classes left. Not sure what I should do.

Thanks for your time!

1) It depends on the type of class you took. Here is the link for the courses that are considered BCP...Everything else is considered science.
2) I think classes taken in a Neuroscience Masters program fall under biology and count towards your BCP GPA and Science GPA.
