Hello all! Just had a couple questions regarding the PharmCAS gpas, etc. To be clear, science and prerequisite GPAs are different, right? Some schools I've looked at say they require a prereq GPA of 2.5, whereas others say science gpa of 2.5. By science gpa, it would be the gpa including ALL science courses I've taken (ochem, chem, bio, physio, neurobio, etc)?
Also, some schools only require 4 quarter units of ochem or bio. I've taken 12 units (series of 3 courses) of each subject. Since they only require one class as a prerequisite, will they only calculate one of the 3 courses of the series into my prerequisite GPA? And if so, will they calculate using the very first course of the series, or whichever I got the highest grade in? For example, if I took Bio 1, 2, and 3 and got grades of C+, B, A respectively.
Thank you!
