Questions to ask when I visit potential 4th year preceptors

I'm working on setting up fourth year rotations by writing to doctors in my local area, preferably ones with the types of practices I'm considering working in someday, and asking them if they're interested in taking on a fourth year medical student for some free help. If they're keen on this, I intend to visit their practice in person, both to see if they and their staff are people I'd want to work with, as well as get my face known to them.

When I go to meet these docs at their practices, what are some important questions to ask them? Also, if I get the chance to talk to them alone, what are some important questions I might ask the office staff, to get a good sense of how well-run a practice it is?

I'm most attracted to the idea of having a small private office-based family or geriatric practice in the greater NYC metro area, by the way, so I want at least a couple of my 4th year rotations to be at these kinds of sites.

Questions that come to my mind, in no particular order:
* How many patients do you see in the average day / week?
* Where else do you practice? At what hospitals do you have privileges?
* Are you on the staff at any nursing homes?
* What procedures do you do right here in your office?
