When listing Student Organizations under work/activities for AMCAS, is it alright to put the organization's president for the contact person. There is a faculty advisor for the organization, but he would have no idea who I am? Thanks!!

I would put the faculty advisor. If they call, the advisor can always either look you up or ask the president.

Thanks! I have one more question. I'm not sure what to classify my student organization experiences as. I have had leadership in them, so should I chose that option, or do you feel there is one better suited? Thanks

I put mine under the standard EC, but titled it with my leadership responsibility.

eg. X group: President

Then listed responsibilities, group info, and the value of the experience.

Good luck. By the way, there is a thread dedicated to these types of questions. You'll have more success there if you have more questions, or want other opinions.

I used the organization president along with their personal contact information. Of course if you do this, be sure they didn't graduate or study abroad.
