Here are my questions:

1) I took an optional class, which supplemented and provided extra help for my Calculus class. It appears on my transcript as, "GE 207D - Suppl Insturction for m408D" GE stands for "general engineering" and M408D is the actual engineering calculus class it supplemented. So which category does this "Supplemental" class fall under? Math? Engineering? Other? 😕

2) And is this supplemental class considered a "Lab course only" or "Lecture course only"? 😕

3) I took a course called "BIOL4900 - Special Problems" in which I participated in the Texas Teratology Information Service. I basically answerd the phones and took down patients histories, symptoms, etc, for pregnant women with potentially hazardous exposures. What category does this fall under? Biology? Health Sciences? Other? Special Studies? 😕

Thanks in advance guys--this course work stuff on AMCAS is tough!

1) I'd put whatever you put the Calculus class as - presumably math.

2) Lecture course only, I think. That's what I put all my recitations under; I saved the lab class designation for classes that were actually labs (with equipment and experiments and stuff).

3) Probably biology since that's the course designation on the transcript. Especially if you got an A! (You could maybe make a case for something else, but I wouldn't.)

Thanks!

I put the same things you suggested--its sorta like a recitation/discussion class, not literally a lab w/equipment, etc etc.

Yup, I got an A in that one, so I want to put it as biology!

Cheers, :luck:
