Can someone please clarify this: for this compound I think it has 14 total pi electrons, but only 10 pi electrons are in the aromatic system. And it is aromatic. Is this a correct statement? The compound is attached as an image file. Thanks!!

I would say 10 pi electrons. But there are some electrons in the P orbitals of Cl and Br, but they are likely not contributing to the aromaticity.

There are 5 double bonds so 10 pi electrons. Cl and Br have extra electrons floating around, but they must be apart of a double or triple bond to count as pi electrons.
