in a TERRESTRIAL lake, where is the nutrition and oxygen found?? both at the bottom, both at the top, or one on top and one on the bottom??

I believe most of the oxygen is found up top, and as you go down lower you end up in more anoxyic conditions, due to oxygen from the air diffusing into the water. I believe the nutrition is found on top of the lake because that is were bugs, vegetation, etc are.

what's the opposite of a Terrestrial lake? Extraterrestrial? 😀

or does it mean terrestrial opposite to a marine lake?
