I did a search and didn't see what I was looking for...sorry if I missed it..

I know science gpa is unique, but just wanted to confirm that science classes count towards cumulative GPA. In other words, science classes count towards both sgpa and cgpa; cgpa isn't your gpa for all non-science classes.

For AMCAS, your grades are reported in a grid, by undergraduate year, for BCPM, All Other, and Total (combined BCPM and All Other). Below each reported year, any post-bacc, cumulative undergrad (undergrad + post-bacc), and graduate grades are reported BCPM, AO, and Total.

To answer your question directly: yes, I would include sGPA in the cGPA; I think of sGPA as a subset of cGPA -- cGPA isn't AMCAS' "All Other" category, it's the "Total".

Hope that helps!

The BCPM GPA (often abbreviated as sGPA) is included in the cGPA. So is the AO GPA, which is All Other classes not in the BCPM GPA.
