quick question about eras ps

I hear you are only allowed one page for the personal statment which is roughly 750-850 words according to scutwork. That means "word count" on microsoft word will be a useful index of length. I am worried because I have a tendency to write too much (i.e first draft=1.25-1.5 pages in length).
For AMCAS, they still used the paper format, so as long as I fit it in the space I was fine. I tweaked the margins and font indefinitely.
Do any of you remember if you could change font size and margins when you transcribe the essay in to ERAS. Registration does not begin until mid-July and I am not familiar with the system. Thanks everyone..

no you can not change the font size or margins. It is a standard text file that is uploaded so be concise

Also technically you're not restricted to one page, it's just that PD's don't want to read more than a page.
