I just got accepted in to med school and of course I need to reply within two weeks. I want to reserve my seat, but I don't want to commit to them yet. I wanna wait to see what other schools I might get accepted into and compare possible financial aid packages. So my question is, what should I put in the reply letter. Should I tell them that I am not yet commiting to them? Or should I just say that I am sending the $100 dollars to reserve my place in the class and they will now from there that I am not yet committing?

Holding a spot doesn't commit you to anything. Hold the spot and see what happens as the admission process plays out. There is a tremendous amount of movement in and out of every school as students accept and decline seats. Schools are well aware of this and aren't going to get their feelings hurt by changes.

If you were just admitted, it sounds like you were accepted via the early decision program. Is that correct? If so, acceptance via EDP is a binding agreement and you can't wait to see what the remainder of the admissions year might bring:

EDP guarantees notification by October 1, while regular applicants are not notified of admissions decisions until October 15 at the earliest - which makes me think you're an EDP applicant.
