Quick Question:

So finals week is coming up at my school, and as usual, the premed in me is running the worst case scenario in my mind (nothing I can't handle though 😛)

It did have one question come to my attention though; I understand the importance of upward trends when applying to medical school and since this is my 3rd semester in college (<3.0 gpa 1st semester, much better gpa 2nd semester), I was wondering how bad 1 small dip (~.2 lower than the previous semester) in an otherwise decent upward trend look in the eyes of an adcom? Would it doom my chances?

Back to studying! Thank you for your time and responses.

You're still early on, say you took too much on your plate, and rock it from now on.

It won't doom your chances. Just try to have above a 3.5 when you apply.
