Hey guys, I just have a quick question in regards to timing my practice passages. I'm following the S2ned method of:
"- For BR passages: 6-7 minutes per passage, work towards 6 minutes
- For the EK 30-minute exams….well 30 minutes
- EK 1001, except Bio series: 30 seconds to 1 minute per question
- EK Verbal 101/TPR Verbal: 6-7 minutes per passage, work towards 6 minutes
- AAMC FLs: Use their timing"

When he means "per passage" does that include answering questions?

On the MCAT, for the sciences you have 8 minutes/passage with 4-5 questions each. For CARS, you get 10 minutes/passage but the number of questions per passage can vary, total 53 questions. Timing includes answering questions.

In the various practice materials, I find that some passages have 4-5 questions while other passages have even 9 or 10 questions. So, I just keep a rough track of time when I am practicing and keep the number of questions in mind. Its okay to take slightly longer on passages that have more questions.
