Hey guys

I was wondering if it was at all possible to enter medical school the same year you finish a post-bacc program. So if you finish the post-bacc program in may of 2006, can you enter medical school in the fall of 2006? Thanks! 🙂

From my understanding, you would need your pre-reqs and MCAT done the previous fall (Fall '05 in your example) so you could apply to start in Fall '06. Taking the MCAT the previous fall is really your difficulty - to have summertime to study, you would've needed to finish pre-reqs that previous Spring.

The long story short is - not really. If you can apply in 2005 for 2006 (pre-reqs done, MCAT done, etc.) then you are really in a glide year, just taking classes too.

have you done your pre-reqs already? or is this an academic-enhancing post bacc program?
