Quickly! What other schools should I add?!

Hey guys - It's late September, I want to add more schools, but want some suggestions based on stats...and timing. What schools can I still be in the running for, since I'll be relatively late? I've gone ahead and looked through the curricula / missions of various schools and tried to see which ones I might have a chance at, but this is proving to be pretty inefficient...so I desperately wish for your input. Take a gander at my MDapps.

I would have suggested VCU, but looks like they've been aggressively distributing invites and seem to be running out of slots.

Arkansas doesn't offer OOS interviews until at least November, so you'd still be pretty early on that one. 😀 Tulane, Crieghton, and SLU are always good choices.

Are there other schools like Arkansas? What are some non-rolling schools?

Err...I think Duke isn't rolling. I don't believe ECU is either, but I'm not really sure. Non-rolling schools are definitely a rarity these days.

Yeah I added SLU and VCU - even though reading the VCU thread wasn't too encouraging, but...eh.

hmm. i am still sitting on a few secondaries (i'm not lazy, i just couldn't afford them!) incl. creighton, albany, columia and emory. I was probably going to skip emory and columbia . . . i think my chances at emory are zero, and even though i may have a tiny shot at columbia it's too small to justify, especially since i dont want to live in NYC. i was thinking it may be too late for creighton and albany but maybe i could try to get those two secondaries in by the end of the month if there's still hope . . .

Have you tried Virginia Tech Carilion? I managed to get pre-screened and receive an information packet within 2 days of them getting my primary.

What are my Chances is generally the accepted place to ask "where should I apply" type questions because implicit in those kinds of questions is the deeper question of "what schools do you think MY CHANCES of getting accepted at are good?"
