Quinn, Be safe

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Glad I don't live there anymore! My house was in an "A" zone. They've already ordered the evacuation of A, B, and C zones. Yikes!

The storm barely touched Tampa. I do not think any damaged occurred here. All evacuated were allowed back home. Now poor punta gorda is another story. They did as far as I know temporarily close tampa general do to it being in a evacuation zone, so I am not sure how much action Quinn actually received.

Isn't TGH on a tiny little key? I was only there once, for ACLS or something.

I hope you're doing well, Quinn. My grandparents live in Port Charlotte (they're okay, I found out today, FINALLY) and my mother lives in Tampa. She said they're taking people to Tampa b/c the 2 of the EDs in Charlotte county are closed and one is only partially functioning? Either way, I'm sure you're getting hit with some extra people - take care & thanks.

TGH is on Davis island. It is indeed a small little island that would easily be flooded.
We also did receive today alot of transfers from port charlotte and punta gorda as their hospitals are either closed or partially functioning as suggested. When I was at TGH earlier, we were expecting about 30 transfers. Quinn must be on vacation. Normally he hits these threads before there are even 10 views 🙂 .
