So here is the deal. I submitted my AMCAS at the beginning of June. One of my activities was volunteering to help some kids at my local church. Anyways, it is approx 1.5 hrs per week, and I started in April.

The problem is that I realllly don't like doing it, and it causes huge conflicts with work scheduling. I'm scared that, if I quit, med schools will look on that very negatively.
Anyways, I could use some advice.
Thanks!

Just quit if you don't enjoy it!

You have already submitted your AMCAS.

I do want to quit. But right now I'm not involved with any other volunteer activities, I don't have many strong long term volunteer activities on my amcas as it is (longest experience lasted maybe a year) and I am worried that I am quitting too soon (3 months is not that long of a commitment imo).
