One of the many lists:

If you just want to go to just "a" radiologic meeting, "the meeting" to go to would be the annual RSNA meeting in Chicago. It is the largest medical meeting in the world. The first time I went, I was very awed by how extensive it is. There's something for everyone. Refresher courses, scientific meetings, abstarct presentations, , difficult diagnosis cases, computer apps, technical exhibitions, equipments vendors, educational posters, scientific posters, computer educational exhibits, recruiters, physicists, hands-on courses, etc. If you want to go you should register soon. It's free for medical students, allied health science students, residents, and fellows. It's going to be in the end of November, beginning of December. Literally about 50 sessions/demos/courses going on simultaneously.

This is the preliminary program brochure:

Thanks alot for the info. This is exactly what I was looking for. Now i gotta figure out if I can miss 4 days out of my surgery rotation to go to this conference

If you are interested to get a look at the cutting edge stuff in interventional radiology, you might want to go to the society of interventional radiology meeting in Toronto in April next year.

RSNA is huge, some people say too huge. It is pretty much the 'world radiology convention' these days with attendees and presenters from around the world.

The american roentgen ray society has an annual meeting which is a lot smaller and a bit more national in scope.

I went to the SIR meeting the past two years...first as a third year med student, then again last year as a fourth year med student....nice thing is it was free for medical students...just sign up early so you can get the workshops you want b/c the good ones filled up fast... I won't be able to make it to Toronto this year

I also went to a CT/MRI conference in Vegas my third year which was nice but I had to pay for it....

Still it was well worth it because it was nice to see the upcoming technologies, etc......

you can check out a listing of conferences on the RSNA website.
