All radiologists are trained to do interventional procedures including angiography and CT/US guided biopsies. In large institutions the interventional trained radiologists typically do all the angiography, the Body fellowship trained radiologists do the CT guided biopsies and US guided biopsies on the body. The neuroradiologists do the myelographs, vertebroplasties and interventions in the brain. As a general radiologists though you will be able to do angiography and biopsies...you won't be coiling any aneurysms but an angiogram, even venograms should be no problem. At large academic or big community programs most proceures are done by that particular fellowship trained radiologist but at smaller institutions the general radiologists is expected to be able to do it all except the procedures that absolutely require a subspecialist.
