Raising score above 240

Hi All,

Sorry for posting another new topic but any advice on how best to raise your score if you are already at 240. I just took an NBME and am about 2 months out from step 1 and scored a 240. Is DIT better to raise your score from 240 to 260 or should I stick with FA and Uworld. Any advice would be appreciated.

DIT is a waste of time. If you want more to do, add another qbank or redo uworld.

I have loved DIT, but if you are already at 240, I doubt DIT would help you get another extra push. I feel it is more for those who need the structure during an intensive review period. Not to say that DIT won't get you above a 240, but it's just a whole lot more to do if you are already there.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I'm going to skip DIT and spend that time to read first aid on my own and do more questions because I'm already scoring pretty well. I'll keep the forum updated about how I do. Lots of good support here.
