So I'm taking CS in 2 days, have a couple random questions:
1. I'm planning on typing my notes because I'm a slow writer; however, I noticed there was a character limit on the simulated note software I used on the CS orientation site. Supposedly they give the same amount of space as a written note but I figure you can just write smaller to get some extra space if needed. Did anyone have to truncate notes when typing them?
2. Bathroom breaks! Can you seriously only use the bathroom after the 5th and 9th encounters (during scheduled breaks)? I know my bladder is going to explode from AM caffeine, nerves by the 2nd hour...
3. Diagnostic Workup! It was mentioned that similar tests can be listed on one line for diagnostic workup. For example AST/ALT/bili/alk phos. But what else can be combined, I've read through First Aid already and it seems to vary tremendously. For example, sometimes they group CBC/electrolytes together at other times separately. What's the consensus?
