i do private shows too.

no i actually do plan on table dancing friday night after i go see pirates of the carribean. yeah my friend's wedding is the next day so.....

i started 3rd year with peds because it has nice residents/attendings for the most part and i didnt really want to go into it. its a good rotation, i just cant see myself doing "Well child visits" for the rest of my life. the truth is that after 2 years in med school you learn which things you really dont want to do, neuro and geriatrics come to mind right away of things i want to stay away from. for me right now i'm thinking of emergency med or some internal med specialty like cardiology or nephrology. i havent made my mind up about surgery yet, i'll know after the rotation.

I'm scared for it since I like rads and rad/onc right now :scared:

thanks nik. the waiting isnt that bad, i mean its just waiting for the results of the test that will determine which specialties i can and cant go into. 😱 :laugh:

seriously though, its nice having peds to distract me from it. i should find out in about a couple weeks now.

EM is more competitive than you might think, its actually a more competitive residency than general surgery. look at you gong into rads, you're gonna come up with the next generation of MRI's or something. 🙂

It has been storming every freakin day lately. I was depressed to move out of tornado alley because I would miss thunderstorms but so far that hasn't been a problem. :laugh:
