Yeah we have a spanish version of it at the clinic where I volunteer and I read it to the kids there as part of a program called reach out and read. Its awesomely fun when I go there, but I was toooooo exhausted after stressful week with finals to think about going today so I took it easy and chilled around here.

My 3 year old niece loves this book too. It actually brought tears to my eyes to see it because I miss her so much. 🙁 I have a gigantic box of stuff to spoil her with!

But she is coming to visit next week! Her first big trip! I can't wait to see her. We are going to go ride the carousel at the mall and go to build-a-bear to get some outfits for her bear. (I got her a bear the day she was born, so they have the same birthday).

Man, I have got to go to bed to be sure to pass the shelf tomorrow! I am having this weird mix of intense emotions of stress about finishing up and starting residency, being so excited to be done, sad about leaving here, but thrilled to move on. If that makes any sense. 😳

jeeez, already up to page 12!!

in other news, i just helped my co-worker get a worm out of her hair. she screamed. i felt so bad, but i had to tell her there was something there. (i didn't realize it was a worm till i got up close...how does a worm get into your hair anyway???)
