They did The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. I read the books when I was little but don't remember them very well so I thought the movie was really good. 🙂

I think they are going to make all of the Narnia books into movies! 👍

I do! It's making me want peppermint patties.

I am off to the store to get some food, finally!

My new desk came today but it is so big all I could do was just barely drag it inside my door (and this was no small feat).

We used to try cow-tipping in college. Cows sometimes sleep standing up, and we'd try to push them over. But, they weigh a ton so it was hard. Plus, they'd wake up and get mad.

Usually alcohol was involved in those crazy schemes.

I'm back from the grocery store!! :clap: Now tonight I have to go to Target to get a microwave. But I got lots of things I don't need a microwave for like sandwich fixins.

I do have to put the desk together. 😡 The first thing I need to do is open it up and separate it into smaller pieces. I don't know how much that thing weighs - I think about 150 pounds at least. I'm a reasonably strong person and with using all might I could not even get an inch of it off the ground.

i love so many different kinds of mint...peppermint patties, mint chocolate chip ice cream, junior mints (except the damn holiday pack that were supposed to come in red and green and every single one except for the last two were white inside), mint tea (esp. moroccan mint tea), i could go on but i'd be here for days 🙂

The game is extremely addicting. They killed me (thanks to Arsenic!!) and I'm still refreshing it constantly to see what happens.

The birdie is good. 🙂 I was upstairs changing a diaper earlier (the nest is right outside the window that the changing table is in front of) and I saw mama bird and daddy bird switch roles. There are two teeny little eggs in it now. I can't wait until there are little chicks!

i can't believe that Arsenic would kill you. but then again, i guess he was trying to cover his tracks (cause people usually think that you wouldn't kill one of your friends).

That movie is really good. Mainly because you get to see Eric Bana's naked upper torso a few times. :laugh:

BTW, I love you guys, but there is no way I'm reading all the back pages to this thread.

I was surprised how much I actually missed talking to you guys, though I did NOT miss SDN in general - N. Carolina was so relaxing but I brought back this totally heinous headcold. :barf:

Greatest thing was that I didn't think/worry about my MCAT score once!

I'm glad to know someone else who reads those books. My best friend is a fantasy nut too but he won't read them because he generally hates fantasy that has dragons. I have to admit: generally those ARE the books that blow. But I love how the dragon is just another race of being so she has a personality and character development (though that is lacking at times). Do you know when the last book comes out?

Have you read the Dark Materials trilogy too?

(Guess I was fibbing a bit when I said I wouldn't read back any 😳 )

I wish. My lower back is hurting more. The bruises keep popping up, but I am grateful that those are the most severe.

PW - I am sending lots of love and prayers your way. I'm glad you've only had bruises. Tiredness can really do horrible things to your driving. I knew a guy my fish year who was driving back from the Baylor game when his friend fell asleep and drifted into oncoming traffic. My friend was badly hurt and the driver was killed. I'm so grateful something like that didn't happen to you.

We all want what we can't have. 🙂 My mom has really curly hair and she used to iron it straight. Now curly hair is popular. 😀

my hair is the complete opposite. it is as super straight and fine as you can get. i have so many curly-haired friends who tell me they'd kill for my hair, but i'd much rather have curlier and a little thicker. i'd at least like something that has some life in a ponytail. sometimes i go crazy and do little tiny curls in my hair (takes a few hours, but looks fantastic).
