Ok, my life has reached a new all time low...I am wathcing reruns of "Everybody Loves Raymond" on TBS.

I think I am going to take Gen Bio again..I'll drop my Sociology class....I really didn't want to take it anyway.

Ok, so I have an easy math, Gen Bio, and basic Chem...as well as some First Aid and a Mass Comm course. Should be good for a GPA boosting semester. Gee, I hope I can get into the Gen Bio class.

Play or watch? I have never played and only watched like once in my life. Actually went to a game once. Didn't understand a thing, but it was cold in there!

I don't know what I mean...no I actually mean Intro Chem....I never took it the first time around.... ugh. Can anyone say "lots-o-freshmen in TypeA's fall classes."

oh gawd huge freshmen courses are the worst. One time i took an intro to sociology course that had almost 500 freshmen in it--i always sat in the balcony and a few times i wanted to jump.

Watch. It's the Stanley Cup playoffs. There's a Canadian team (Edmonton) but I don't think they're going to win unfortunately. They're down 3-1 in their series against Carolina. If Edmonton loses tonight, then Carolina wins the Stanley Cup

I haven't played in years. It was usually something we did outside in the winter for fun growing up. The real equimpent and stuff can cost a fortune

I keep trying to be smart about this..."ease into it" I keep thinking. But, other times (like now) I think I am going too slow. I am a college grad and starting in freshman classes...I don't know if I am being prudent or just giving into my fear.

Funny you say that. I played for the first time in 3 years last Saturday. I almost puked. Sadly, I'm a goalie. Definitely not as flexible as possible.

Aw, that sucks. Did you have to wear all the equipment? I remember being in goal in floor hockey and I had very bruised knees

1. there will be other non-trads in your classes, especially the larger ones. I'm definitely older than the majority of my classmates, but in 5 classes, haven't been close to being the oldest. make friends. have fun.

2. I enjoy sitting back and people-watching the traditional students. some are very nice/cool, and some THINK they're very cool but they're really not. amazing what 10 years does to give you perspective on that.

3. consider the possible ego boosts. I mentioned my job to a 21 y/o who I've had several classes with. She looked at me like I had 3 heads and asked "Wait a minute- how old ARE you?" I, of course, countered by asking what she had been thinking and got "Oh my gosh- I thought you were, like, MY age!" She is now my new best friend. 😀

Not only can they be ankle biters, but they're also butt biters too. I speak from experience :laugh: Swans are nastier though. Geese usually just want to protect their little ones

The Illinois geese are bad, too. They used to be Canadian geese, but they stopped migrating and now stay year-round. They get fiesty if you get too close to their "turf".

Swans are definitely more aggressive, though.

did i write COUNTRY instead of COUNTY?

i was born at St. Elizabeth in MA. My mom said it was cambridge, but online it says boston... i just needed to know the county for amcas, i never put it in

i went too fast--completed all the requirements for my B.S. in 2 years....i wish i would have been more careful--taken it slower.

but honestly--don't take classes below your level--don't be scared! you are DEFINITELY capable of starting with gen chem I plus lab and a bio class + lab that would count toward the med school requirements. I mean gen chem is usually a freshman class too!

i saw the funniest thing on the news a while ago. There was goose sitting on the roof of a Best Buy above the doors and when people came out of the store, it would fly down and attack them.
