Good morning people! Man, I was tired last night. Had I known that I would making so mnay trips back to the old stomping ground, I would have insisted that we stay there for another month. If this gives you any idea:

This weekend:
Thursday afternoon: hubby drives from old to new (2-3 hours b/c of traffic)
Fri afternoon: both drive from new to old for appointment (2 hours)
Friday night: both drive back to old (2 hours)
Saturday afternoon: hubby drives back to old (2 hours)

Next weekend:
Friday morning: I drive from new to old (2 hours)
Saturday afternoon :both drive from old to new (2 hours)
Saturday night: both drive back to old..need to be there early for the a.m. (2 hours)
Sunday afternoon: I drive back to new from old (2 hours)

I understand that some people commute this everyday, but I don't....there is a reason for that. There is NOTHING worth this type of commute. Come July 2nd, most of hubby's driving will be over. Mine will not, but a lot less frequent!!!

If any of you haven't see CARS yet its a must see......one of the best movies I have seen in a while!

It's perfect for kids, but has adult humor in it too. Basically just another pixar classic!

That movie was hilarious - I took my little nephew last weekend.

My brother told me that my niece said last night when she was being tucked in, "I SO love Aunt Beary, and I haven't seen her for days." 😍
awww, so cute! 😀

BB, how was nacho? I'm still not sure yet if I want to go see it.

Pdubs, sorry to hear about all the commuting. Commuting sucks big ones. I'm so thankful that I can't have a car here in Boston so Captain T has to do all my driving 😛

I'm waiting to see cars until it has been out for 10 days (I think Monday will be 10 days but I'm not sure). I get these nice cheap movie passes from my work for Loews or AMC theaters and they are $5.50 for any movie...the only catch is you have to wait at least 10 days after the movie opened.

that's the only way to do it.

they used to have the 3 buck movie theater here... but noooooooo.... they had to close.

there goes a day of catching up on my movies! 😡

Yeah, but did you check out his abs?? 👍

I love cheap movies! There were $1 theatres in San Antonio, but alas, I am no longer there. They were kinda smelly though.

we used to have a theater in my neighborhood that did $1 movie thursdays. they were always really old ones. but they turned that one into an only artsy fartsy movie theater, and now the tickets are $7.

My husband is gone for the weekend so I was gonna see Cars or Nacho, but he wants to see BOTH with me. My husband HATES going to the movies, especially kids movies b/c of the noise, but he really loved the previews for these. And who can resist Jack Black as el luchador?

It's pretty good if you liked Napolean Dynamite.
I thought that all of the funny parts would be on the previews but they really aren't. There is plenty of other funny parts.

We have a drive in here where you can see 2 movies for $7. They are new releases only a week after their release.

Yeah, I was afraid they had given away all the good stuff in the previews. And I loved Napoleon Dynamite. My bf doesn't want to go to see Nacho, but I think I can find someone else to go with.

I can't even go to a waterpark for fear of spontaneous combustion due to my bright white skin- much less own one. 🙁

I, too, am melatonin-challenged. 😉 It has been requested by waterparks in 3 states that I do not visit their establishments, as many cases of spontaeous blindness have occurred in conjunction with my enjoyment of their parks. 😎

Your avatar looks like they got their MCAT score already!

I only know what Hummus is .... but it all sounds yummy! 😀

I'm BBQ'ing hot dogs for lunch. Who wants to join me?

hummus is mashed chickpeas. Very Mediterranean. I love adding garlic and black olives and a little tabasco and curry for spiciness. Totally killer.

Ratatouille is great, too. Tomatos....mmmmmmmm.

I love eggplant, too.

Dude, I'm all over TypeA's meal!

I hate going over practice tests. I get so pissed when I miss easy questions that I know the answer to but during the test I just blank and put the wrong answer without thinking about how I got it.

Missing 10 chemistry and 4 physics sucks when you know you could have half of those correct easily. Difference between a 13 where I want to be and an 11 where I seem to be stuck. 😡

/end rant

Maybe you are getting burned out?

I'm sure you're getting tired of hearing how well you're gonna do, but maybe you need a break!

I doubt that in real life application terms there is much of a difference between a 13 and an 11. They are both very good scores.

LifetimeDoc, I like your avatar.

This is how I felt today at the stupid fake patient test I had to do as part of orientation:

How come pathologists are supposed to know about everything else, but nobody else has to know anything about pathology? 😡

 I am pale too, but I love waterparks! I think these would be fun businesses to own and have someone else manage them 😉

I don't want to own something I can't take full advantage of. It'd be like TypeA owning a distillery. What's the point? :meanie: 😀

The babaganoush, hummus, etc sounds fabulous. I just bought 2 huge tubs each of hummus and spinach dip for a party my office is throwing Monday night. YUM!

Oh, I'd take FULL advantage, but I wouldn't want to run the day-to-day operations 😉
