I need to get motivated and finish my second draft of my personal statement. I feel like I'm late with my AMCAS application compared to everyone else. Though I'm still waiting on two other transcripts to arrive, so I guess it doesn't matter it's not submitted yet. 😕 :scared:

Remember...you can always donate your used MCAT materials to your pre-med office or pre-med student club so that other students can benefit from the materials. We may all be competeting for a few number of med school slots, but we are all in this together. Besides, book burning just sounds wrong. But I understand the desire!

My ultimate meterology dream is to either 1) work at the Storm Prediction Center in Oklahoma (they're the people that issue tornado and severe tstorm watches), or work for NASA and do space weather about sun storms and stuff.

My folks wore me out. The NASCAR race is coming on but I think I may take a nap first (I always Tivo the race so I can fast forward through commercials, red flags, rain delays, etc.)

oh, and i didnt think amsie was the angel. i just thought she was lying to try to save herself from a lynching in the first round. i thought only 2 things could be going on:

1. shes lying to save herself
2. shes an idiot and is really the angel

i gave her too much credit and thought she was lying. that sounds harsh but i still cant believe it, she did that crap on purpose to screw us over.

You def. gave her too much credit. She doesn't have very much depth of play to make that sort of move.

BB - as for amsie, I didn't see she was the angel until afterwards and personally we always vote her off first for reasons beyond the lounge. :meanie: 😉

all i'm saying is that i would NEVER invite amsie to another game again. i'm serious, she set us all up as pay back for always lynching her. i dont care what molly or anyone else says in her defense, thats what she did.

I completely agree on no more amsie. I hate to be mean but I don't know why she was there in the first place. They must have been desparate. (probably why they asked me as well 😉 ) I think just having villagers and guessing wildly is COMPLETELY stupid and the game should have ended there. Esp b/c I had a feeling we had EXPERT werewolves. But hey, there's always next time. Can't win them all.

for sure. the angel is my favorite role too and she squandered it. you dont have to worry about getting eaten at night and all you have to do is keep from getting lynched. even if you reveal your identity to avoid the lynching you can just keep protecting yourself at night until the seer comes out. no pressure! 😀

amsie never came out and said she was the angel, she just made her avatar some weird looking angel and kept hinting at it. weirdest strategy ever. :laugh:

oh i see now (about how it came out she was the angel). Well its done and over with now time to move on.

I'm not thrilled with the using new names. I understand the concept but its too hard to switch back and forth. Especially if you are limited on time and have other duties 😉

oh come on mush, its not that hard. just log on with the ALIAS 🙂D) in IE for example and keep your real acct logged on in firefox. that way you dont have to keep logging in and out.

I try to come on every now and then. I'm busy studying for MCAT. Oh and my car battery went dead the other day so I was in limbo stuck in my house without a working computer. So I'm dependent on having some freetime and having that free time coincide with when the computer lab is open. :laugh: :laugh:

Ok off to home to study more MCAT stuff.

i just talked to diesel yesterday on aim. shes on break for another 2 weeks before starting 2nd year.

you were doing great in the game mush, i just wish you had come back sooner. molly let me in on who were the wolves last night after i died and i promised not to tell anyone until it was all over. you were the only one mentioning shelley and vhawk... sucks you just didnt have more help. you're definitely a strong player though.

you're not late! i still haven't submitted...🙂

i'm hoping to do it by this friday. I have to make some calls to make sure that the places I'm applying to don't have MCAT cutoffs for MD/PhD.

Sorry A-man...UMiami was looking really good, but they say you need at least a 30 composite to be considered for the MD/PhD program. I'm going to call tomorrow and ask if that's just a guideline.

Whatever. I laid out the list of those who lynched amsie. I knew they could just play it off to the other loungers as tradition.
