Ha! Let me run to Ft.Lauderdale and get some. Ewww! I am sure they are not making great business here  . I believe the whole putting noodles in chilli thing started back in the "old days" when they were trying to make the food go farther around the table (you know, to feed 13 children.)
what kind of noodles are they? like ramen?

Then I expect your next off day will be filled with skyline. I expect a full report back here after your "itis" is over.

I never started playing because I was scared it would take up too much time.
I played once and haven't since. It's just really confusing, it's hard if you're not able to be on the computer 24-7 because things just go on without you, and there's no rhyme or reason to it. I just didn't think it was a very good game per se, although the story part is fun to read. It's just that I never had any idea who should be lynched for any rational reasons.

11 on BS. I'm getting rocked on the physio though. I haven't hit that stuff yet in prep so I hopefully I can raise it to your standards 😀

That will get up there once you finish the content.

What was the verdict on verbal?

wow, the mcat minimum use to be 28 for out of staters and 26 for in staters for the straight MD, they must have raised it recently.
It was the same as what scent said last year when I applied. In-state straight MD should have 24 minimum, OOS and MD/PhD should have 30 minimum. Personally I am opposed to MCAT floors. I understand why schools do it, but I've had enough students with otherwise excellent credentials who are a point or two below the MCAT floor (low 20s) and wind up not being able to get into the FL allopathic schools.

so i've taken the last classes of my college career...

should I feel guilty for thinking that if I had my way, I would continuously loop these past 4 years for the rest of eternity? If there has to be a future, then med school is all I really want....but I can't help but feel sad that nothing is ever going to compare to college life 🙁
No, you shouldn't feel guilty. But you need to recognize that what you are feeling is nostalgia, and it's unfair. You haven't experienced your post-college life yet, so you can't even fathom what it will be like. You're comparing the known past to the unknown future. All I can tell you is that my 30th year was the best one yet. As much as I loved college, you couldn't pay me enough to relive my adolescent angst. 😎

if by productive you mean spent as little time thinking about pediatrics as possible, then yes - today was extremely productive.

This coming from the guy who constantly rags me for my freaking MCAT score. 🙄 I hate to break the news to you, dude, but I'm still an M0 for a while yet.

I met my former student (the one who just finished M1 at somewhere someplace) and his wife earlier this week for dinner. He has no idea who you are. I told him it's because unlike him, YOU are a total slacker. :meanie:

Sweetie, you know that you are one of my most favoritest med students out there. But if you're gonna dish it out to me, you gotta expect retribution. 😛

Seriously, though, we were discussing his Step 1 studying strategy. He was telling me which books he read this past year along with his textbooks. But he hadn't ever heard of Goljan's path tapes. I told him to check out the USMLE forum here on SDN, and he said he would.

you're gonna destroy medical school. you are the chuck norris of medical school:

- med schools dont accept Q, she accepts them
- Q doesnt pay tuition, they pay her
- Q never took the mcat, it took her on and lost... badly.

yeah, the only thing is that the first 3 weeks of this rotation are pretty much a different location every day so i dont really have a chance to settle in you know? some people are on ward medicine for the first 3 weeks so they see the same people and have the same daily routine everyday, i think thats a better way to start. as is i'm constantly feeling lost.
