I'm more familiar with Pritzker, but I posted in that thread in case I could be of any help! I'm not sure what he's asking, though...

I applied to NW and someone asked why I didn't apply to Pritzker. Truth is I guess the school didn't strike me. Did I make a mistake? At this point I don't really want to add schools. (though my dad will not leave me the hell alone about applying to Harvard).

make yourself a schedule, something doable and not too crazy. kaplans schedule was crazy, i hated it so i made my own. its a lot of material to go through as you study but by making your schedule you can feel good once you do what you have to do for the day. so for example, when i was done with the 3 bio sections and practice questions i had schedule for myself that day, i could relax and enjoy myself for the rest of the time knowing that i was on schedule. without it you just feel so overwhelmed and can lose motivation really easily.

also lili, now that you've studied for it once before, studying for it again will go by much faster and you'll pick up details that you totally missed the first time. kind of like when you notice something new when you re-watch a movie you've seen before. this is just a bump on your way to becoming a doctor, now go beat the s*** out of that test! :meanie:

if i knew how to make granola I'd send you a motivational batch! :luck: 😀

brett, i'll try to go to skyline next weekend. i had a big dinner last night with my sis and if i tried to eat that chili today i think i'd probably die of an MI on the spot. :laugh:

*hugs to beary* I know how difficult that can be. That was me for about 5 years of my life. We are better now but still fight occasionally. I think its the mother/daughter thing for life. Or maybe she just misses you ... or maybe that is just my mom 😳

Oh and before you leave blockbuster MAKE SURE THEY TAKE THE YELLOW STRIPS OUT OF THE MOVIES 😡 We got all the way home and realized doofus forgot. Additionally, he almost didn't give us our free movie pass b/c "syriana" was guarenteed in stock and wasn't in stock. 🙄

I've kinda decided against doing the mini's for right now. Not really by choice, but more of time constraint. Thus far I've found those to be least helpful.

I'm really behind on my EK 1001 Bio. That's what I'll be doing tommorrow after my FL.

I hear ya on that one. The timing on the mini's seems to be off as well. What practice test are you doing and how long has it been since you did one last?

I'm taking Kaplan 3. I took 5R last weekend.

I remember when I took that back when I was studying for the April exam...it was my best score. For a lot of my friends, however, it was their worst.

How did you do on 5R?

Ah, don't worry. You'll kick ass on it. The worst thing about Kaplan exams is the PS section. You shouldn't have anything to worry about since you are a physics major. 😀

I am nervous about taking a practice test again. I haven't taken one since I started studying again (after voiding the April exam). I don't want to be disappointed. 🙁

True, but I don't have a lot of time on my hands. If I am gonna take half the day to do a test...it's gonna be a new one. The only ones I have not taken yet are EK 1G, Kaplans 5 and up, AAMC 3, 7 and 9.

Take 3R then. I thought it was pretty easy. 7 and 9 should be taken closer to the real thing I think since they are newer and more representative.

Edit: Pretty easy being relative. It still was an MCAT.

Do you tend to do better or the Kaplan or AAMC tests? I was planning on taking 3R, but not until next week.
