i'm sorry... but the fact that katie holmes was cast in that role in batman begins makes it suck mucho.

not even christian bale with his lisp can change that. and i looooooove a brooding christian bale.

katie holmes = suckage. this is why i refused to see thank you for smoking.

i dunno. the whole time i kept thinking "UGH! KATIE HOLMES!" and then by default tom cruise. ick ick.

equilibrium... that was good. brooding bale and surprise! he feels!

if they remake the old movies with bale... i wonder who the leading ladies would be

I wish I would have taken the comics my ex-boyfriend and had. I had #181 and some x-men comics from the first few books. I spent a few thousand on helping build my ex's collection. 🙁 Tons of classics ... *sigh*

I'd have to say the best sequal I've seen ever from a comic movie would have to be "Batman Begins". I'm also watching it right now 😳 Its a regular movie in our DVD player. Closely would be X2 and Blade 2, and of course I liked Elektra, but that was mostly b/c of Jennifer Garner 😀 Spiderman 2 that movie was ok but I just didn't like it. I'm looking forward to the venom match up.

Fantastic 4, Daredevil, Punisher, Hulk just didn't have the following that the others did which is why they didn't get sequels. Oh and Ghost Rider is going to be a joke. Their casting of Nick Cage is a REAL let down. And those are just marvel stuff, there's also Hellboy

Just did a little searching, there will be a Transformers, FF2, Wonder Woman, Hulk 2, Hellboy 2, and Wolverine. Then again these are all works in progress some in the really early stages. I'd love to see a Magdalena comic. I really liked that one. History wise.

I LOVED Batman Begins. Definitely the best of that series, hands down. I thought the new superman was the best of that series but like i said, I'm not a huge DC fan. I never really got into Superman. Seemed kinda one sided and plastic to me. Now Wolverine 😍 there's a character with some depth. And Gambit - still pissed he's not in the movies. But what are you going to do? I saw the ad for the Transformer movie and my dad was laughing as I hyperventilated and called my boyfriend to let him know. I'm so psyched about that!!

I thought Hulk blew, which made me sad because I'm a huge Eric Bana fan (doesn't help that Hector is like my all time favorite literary character and he played him beautifully). I know Daredevil is Marvel but come on!! What an absolutely ****ty comic book! A blind guy that can see?! Yeah, can you tell I don't like that one? :laugh:

Emma Frost movie!?!? Seriously!?!? That's gonna rock!! Is it going to be more about Hellfire Club or X-men? I figure X-men because that's more popular but you never know. Course I'm in love with Wolverine so I'm psyched about that as well.

I like Hellboy but I thought the movie didn't do it justice. Likewise League of Ex. Gentlemen - that graphic novel rocked! So funny - but the movie didn't live up to it I thought.

I heard that Sawyer from LOST was asked to play Gambit in X3 but he turned it down because he thought it would type-cast him? They ended up not finding anyone to do Gambit so they threw him out of the script.

They should have axed Angel, he was worthless in X3

Good evening ladies and gents.

Went to the FIL's house and we put together the grill we got him for Father's Day.

He made potato salad that was, well, BAD and we grilled year-old frozen burgers.

This sounds really really bad because my FIL is such a nice man, but I dread going to his house. He is a huge pack rat and his house smells like mold and mildew. And the food he cooks for us is really old and tastes terrible.

Unfortunately it's one of those things we gotta suck up. Usually we have family get-togethers at one of the other kids' houses, but the FIL insisted and prepared stuff yesterday.

*sigh* my e. coli is working already.

yeah, I just returned from the bathroom after letting my dinner become more intimate with the toilet. No wonder my FIL is so skinny - he either can't keep his dinner down or refuses to eat!

Angel is useless until he become archangel in my opinion. So is Jean Gray until she becomes phoenix. But I have to admit that I haven't seen X3 yet 😳 Many factors adding together to mean I haven't seen it and I'm pissed. 😡

blast I have to read. I could go see the fireworks from the hospital garage, supposedly its an awesome view. Instead I'm going to be content at home reading. When I hear them go off I'll look outside to see if I can see. Its going to take a few hours to get to sleep though b/c I'm sure STREAMS of people are going to be walking by my backyard leaving the party. 🙁

Dude, Everyone in my neighborhood is outside of their house setting off fireworks. Strange site for a jersey girl where its illegal.


FUNNY thing though. My parents said you could BUY fireworks in PA but only non-PA residents can buy them (they check your license). But they are still illegal in NJ, so what is the point? :laugh:

omg you guys. there were a bunch of tornado touchdowns/funnel cloud sightings where i live. we drove away from it and avoided the worst i think but when we were coming back home we drove through part of the storm and it was horrifying--the sky was brown. we saw fire trucks/ police cars all over the place--i don't even know what's going on. People were just driving all over the place b/c no one knew where to go. scariest thing ever.

in ohio you have to sign a paper that says that you will not set these fireworks off in ohio--lol

technically I work PRN at 2 different ones. the one I was at today- ER/child protection social worker.

and no, I do not have to call the child abuse hotline if someone subjects their kid to listening to Lindsay Lohan's "music". 😉

no fireworks for me tonight.......boo! and we didn't even get to grill b/c of this crappy weather--and pizza hut wasn't open. then i was so bored i was doing the PS section from 7R but then i got interrupted by the tornados.
