let's see...i made breakfast, went to the pool, had lunch, and now i am working on some secondaries! fun stuff. i finally submitted my first complete one yesterday (jefferson medical college). it seems like each one has a ton of extra stuff to enter for their md/phd program, but that's what i expected anyway.

Suddenly I'm uber glad I didn't apply MD/PhD 😀

I've studied up a bit - I've got Monday to finish reviewing the website. I bought a little black journal to write notes about each school in and my impressions after I'm done. How's that for anal retentive!

I need to finish Wash U and officially withdraw from Georgetown, TCOM, and GW. I keep making treks to my mailbox to see if anything has come from Vandy. 🙁

I'm guessing she doesn't want to apply to DO school which TCOM is, and she probably doesn't want to live in DC which is where the other two are.

Am I right vd?????

I grew up in Ft. Worth and while it's a great town, I don't want to live there anymore, so TCOM is out (plus, I don't know how I feel about OMM - it's not fair for me to take an interview spot from someone who really loves the school). Georgetown I got an odd vibe from; after looking into it I don't think I'd be happy there. GW I still go back and forth about - $105 is SO MUCH MONEY though. I love DC though.

How can you just buy one? It's so addictive!!! 😀 Any suggestions for good NASCAR diecast brands? I will have to stock up on the Montoya ones once he has his come out. Right now I don't buy any Hotwheels F1 diecasts, only Minichamps, because HW removes certain logos from the car like Budweiser and NicquitinCQ.

I also had 2 other Williams F1 cars arrive in the mail today that I bought lastweek. So 6 will be in transit, 2 are here, 8 in total within a two week span. I'm happy. 🙂

distance tree cousins. :laugh:

Long day here. Going to "on the border" then home for bed. Hubby and FIL was working on the AC. We didn't have central air all day, just a window unit. And the in laws here. They are taking my doggies away tonight. *sobs* They were kind enough to watch them for us while were gone. I feel bad b/c the doggies won't get played with as much.

I've watched 3 kids movies so far today as well. ha.

Well, the baby's birthday party is over. Frankly - it wasn't very much fun. 🙁 Only my sister, brother-in-law, and my hubby's parents and grandmother came. With so few people it was just awkward. I'm feeling quite a bit unloved, though because I invited a bunch of people.

Hopefully I'll meet more people who I have things in common with when I start medical school.

I did get some cute pictures, though. I'm going to upload some to my myspace blog in a few minutes so be sure to check that out in a little while.

My baby is a year old. Crazy! This time last year I was just getting my epidural. 😀 She was born three hours later.

I am sorry that your baby's birthday party wasn't that much fun. We all love you very much. 😉 I missed my niece's first bday party, and I love her and her folks dearly. I will definitely check out your myspace page!!

I thought she was already 2 and here I'm hearing that she's only 1. Wow!!!!!! Sorry to hear it didn't go as you wanted it to, but it will still be good.

Verbal is just terrible for me. I think I know what's going on, but apparently not! lol

Anywho, I'm currently having problems figuring out German Ebay. I'm thinking about buying some more cars (someone stop me) and I need to figure out shipping costs so I'm e-mailing these people, lol!!!
