My financial aid came in :clap: FINALLY. I don't feel poor anymore. Now I have to pay down some of my credit card. 🙁 Its getting out of control. I have to hold off for one more year on paying it all off. When hubby has income and I'll be a grad student with actual federal aid I hope.

New Orleans brand which means it was scarce for awhile but you can find it now. It has chicory as well which cuts down on the bitterness and leaves a nice smooth taste (kinda like shade grown)

Yea I need to check that out, I love trying new brands but for some reason I don't think that is very popular here out in rural Pa.....although they probably sell it somewhere.

If not I think they have a website you can order from. There's another brand: French Market which is like the generic Cafe Du Monde - they might have that.

I think that just shows you how gung-ho they are about research... and I still think taking a differential equations course is ridiculous for that

maybe if you are interested in developing a heart valve and are applying Navier-Stokes.....oh wait, that's bioengineering, not medicine :laugh:

Also, you would think that they would loose a lot of quality candidates because I would say 95% of applicants do not take that course, and most don't have it fulfilled by the time the realize that WashU requires it....except maybe those who have been reading the site for years

Ugh, so I have to drive out to where Brett is going today - I need to borrow a dog from my mom and dad for a couple weeks.

I want to scream, though because I *just* came back from there 2 weeks ago and it's a long a$$ drive, even longer with two kids with me.
