Good morning/afternoon everyone. Last night was officially the last night of partying as a college student 🙁 From now on I am one of those annoying alumni..

I'm having nightmares about physics/orgo this fall.

chem 2 was easy IMO but I like math.

You guys are funny!!!! How's everyone's day been going????? For that matter, what's been cooking this weekend?????

My only semi exciting thing I did this weekend was going to volunteer at the health fair yesterday. It was cool though cuz there were several exhibition booths to get free things from. I didnt have time to get any, but my volunteer coordinator's daughter from Reach Out and Read did. she's like 11 almost 12. They were giving away slinkies which were made from recycled aluminum, candy, school kits with pencils and erasers and stuff like that, magnets, books (we gave books to the kids), and stuff of that nature.

I wish they would make the one that says, "Be the doctor your daddy always wanted you to marry."

I'd buy that one.

How are you guys doing? Just popping in to say hi while my boyfriend is in the shower and can't yell at me for being on SDN! 😀

My dad bought a Corvette in California! He is flying out there and driving it back to Pa cross country. I'm thinking this might be indicative of a mid-life crisis!

alright guys here is the question:
Is it just me, or is "sex-life" really bad during MCAT time.
I mean, as a guy, you should usually have a good sexual desire, but when I study for the MCAT I feel like a 50 years old man. (maybe 55 😛 )

What's the problem? You should be in meditative status while studying for the MCAT and block out all emotion 😛

Wait until you get into med school and residency. It's like studying for the MCAT all the time (from what I hear).

dood- physics II/orgo I for me starting Aug 21

we'll get through it

August 21? That seems very early!

My classes start the week after - but I'm sure that means you start winter break sooner than I will. 🙂

I'm kind of excited to get back to taking classes. I took last year off because the baby was born during the summer and I didn't think I'd be able to take care of her, go to classes, and study for the MCAT.

who knows how my school does things. our spring break wasn't until the last week in March. every other school in the area- and even the other state schools- all had theirs earlier.

it's better than the attempt to do phys II this summer in 4 weeks, which was a short-lived attempt last week

and the buildings all have A/C, so we're all good.. 😀

OK, when you put it that way. A/C makes things better 🙂

I have a grant proposal to do, and I am having an heck of a time trying to start the darned thing.
