Well, I think I set a posting record today. I have a long ways to go before I'm a postwhore. I'm a junior postwhore in training.

But all this posting has made me tired. Good night all!

Goodnight Crazy c!

I found meeting your husband via e-mail and clicking an amusing choice of words. Maybe it's all the techno talk in a pre-allo honor society thread making me crazy though.

No, not just you. I didn't see it but now that you pointed it out, I LOL'd.

🙂

yeah I'm good. wild night. lightning on every side as I was driving home. walking out of my office, dust storms kicking up- debris blowing everywhere, tree limbs down... apparently a couple of buildings near downtown have collapsed. wind gusts up to 92 mph, and apparently at least one tornado touched down.

it was weird- the winds were blowing straight south. ?????
This is why I want to learn meteorology here in Ok. These winds just come from everywhere. I do NOT see that in jersey.

Well glad to hear I'm not the only one who LOLed.

Thank you all for being such gracious hosts to us fledgling post-****** tonight.

mushy chases them or something
Mushy hasn't chased them yet. I was going to but I got yelled at for thinking about chasing the rotation that passed DIRECTLY over our house a few months ago. Hopefully I will get some good chases in next year after I had my class and maybe made some contacts. 😀

I watch storm stories on the weather channel though. But can't do it before bed :scared: else it consumes my dreams.

I'm going to the optometrist tomorrow and I'm putting in an order for new glasses. 🙂

I went to the optometrist last week to make sure my headaches weren't being caused by eye strain. They weren't. My eyes are still just about perfect. 😀

Of course, that means I still have to see a doctor about the headaches. I've just been putting it off because I have a feeling they'll do a bunch of expensive tests (that I don't want to pay for) and find nothing.

Yeah, this just happened to my bf, too.

Well, I can't say he found out nothing. He found out that the headaches he always thought were sinus-related probably aren't.

Good to know but not exactly helpful. 😉

The optometrist I saw (one of my husband's clients) was telling my husband that he was glad he didn't find anything wrong with my eyes. My husband told him that we were kind of hoping it would be my eyes because it's an easy fix.

I seriously don't want to have expensive tests with my $1000 deductible insurance plan!!! 😱

I hear you there.

San Jose. There is a shuttle I heard about which is $25. A taxi would be like $60.

You can take the train. I've done it that way before from my mom and dad's. Take Caltrain south and get off two stops after the Sunnyvale stop (can't remember the name). Then there's a busline that goes right from there to the airport. It'd definitely be cheaper than $25.

I can get more details (actual train stop and bus #) if you want me to.

I've seen that route on the hotel website...
Was it fast/hassle/straightforward?

The shuttle is door to door which is nice with luggage and things.
