It was a piece of cake. I just checked out the caltrain website. It would cost you $3.75 to take the train from Stanford to Santa Clara. The shuttle ( http://www.vta.org/schedules/SC_10.html ) from the train station to the airport is free and runs every ten minutes.

So $3.75 total. I'm not sure how far you are from the Stanford train station, though.

I'm 2 busses away from the train station. That is a good deal. I might just do that.

Yeah, and sometimes you can even do it for free. 😉 Unless things have changed recently, you pay for your ticket when you are onboard. There is a person who comes by to take your money. If they don't get to your car during your trip, the ride was free. 😉 That happened to me a few times. 😀

I got up early, had a solid breakfast of poached eggs on toast with a cup of coffee and some fruit (but no caffeine after that). Even though I could walk to the test site so I wasn't worried about driving hassles making me late, I got there super early and just chilled out with my tunes and my flashcards. Drank Gatorade (I do think this helped). Talked to a friend of mine for a little bit before the test but no talking to anyone during it (this was hard for me, I'm one of those go-over-the-test-as-soon-as-you're-done people). Had PB&J, string cheese, and an apple for lunch. Had trail mix for snacking in between sections.

My biggest piece of test day advice:

I wish I'd practiced writing over lunch. Sure, the WS doesn't mean much, but the fact that I wasn't as much in the groove for it as I should have been freaked me out. I'd *expected* to feel a little scared/unsettled during PS. I didn't expect it at all for WS, and it blindsided me. Took me far too long to get down to writing, and I never did feel comfortable during the whole section. And it showed in my score.

One other tidbit to throw out there (sorry, guys, if this squicks you): Make sure you're prepared for any possible menstrual emergency. You don't want to be the girl running around asking for a tampon. You want to be the girl who gives that girl one. Same goes for Midol, etc.

Morning all! I am so out of it. It looks like you guys slammed down a few thousand pages last night. And...welcome jlw to the 500+ club. I can never get in on thenight convos anymore, SDN always moves too slow. I mean, seriously, it is just me? It looks likt y'all are able to carry on a convo at a decent clip. Anyway, it gave us time to work on the house last night. We worked on painting the master bedroom. After 2 coats of primer, I am thrilled to finally get to the actual color!

BB, have I missed it? I want to hear about what is going on out there on your trip. (This would be an excellent opportunity to update your blog. *hint, hint*)

I just got a message from my 3pm appt and it was all garbled. I *think* she was trying to tell me that she has no clean clothes, therefore wants to cancel. Since last I heard it doesn't take 7 hours to do a load of laundry, I'm thinking this is unacceptable.

Has nothing to do with whether the girls are lesbians or not, only that they are hot :laugh:

The lesbian thing personally doesn't do anything for me, not that I have anything against it.

Maybe tonight. Although not much blog related has been going on. Mostly it would just be the same rants and raves as seen on this thread. It's ok though.....
