Why do all you female Randomites who are taken sound like the Stepford Wives? You give your spouse a bluetooth, oxeye has the most adorable kids.....

Okay that's the funniest thing I've heard .... ever! I am sooooooooo not a Stepford Wife!! Just ask my husband. Oh wait - he's too busy cleaning up the kitchen.

That's exactly what I am saying Oxeye! We are going to be docs, we can't cook and clean. j/k of course. I clean every other week very thoroughly.

Well, in my defense I was breastfeeding the baby while I posted that. 😉 I can do that at the computer, I can't feed her and clean up dinner at the same time.

Don't you all just love knowing that? I'd say about 50% of the time I'm at the computer, I'm feeding the kid. :laugh:

Oh I never meant to imply I didn't like the hat. It goes well with the scrubs. I just was curious what prompted its reappearance.

I clean my house decently every Sunday (hubby is at work at the messageboard are all slow so it passes the time). But I don't cook.

And when I'm a physician I'm going to have a maid come a couple times a week. 😛

I imagine I'd be too busy to cook as well. So i will walk on the side of the street and buy some fruit from a vendor....like I did in NY :laugh:

Dude, I don't cook. I don't clean. I don't do much of anything 😛


As for the hat, I just really like it too. Its also an inside joke from a long time ago that only a few of the randomites might know about. Its from a prior thread in the lounge in tribute to a "banned" member. But I won't admit that. Nope. I won't.

I think there were 10 when I took it. I know that I had access to all the tests they had anyway.

I might be remembering completely wrong too, though.

I cook. And I bake. Very well, actually. If it isn't from scratch, it's not worth making it.

I do not, however, dust.

And I seem to have a problem vaccuuming, but then again when half of your closet is on the floor, it makes it kind of tough.

Oh and I'm on the computer everytime the baby needs to eat. How else do you think I managed 2000+ posts since February? :laugh:

I LOVE vacuuming! I used to hate it, but then my mom bought me a Dyson for Christmas one year and I've found excuses to vacuum ever since. That vacuum SUCKS! 😀

Honestly I can't picture anyone here in real life. I imagine going to the SDN conference and seeing a purple bear, a fruit lady, santa lady, tucker carlson and vin diesel chatting, oxeye's kids playing with penguins........it would be like a crazy nightmare :laugh:

Your skills at multitasking will undoubtedly serve you well in another three years. Though I don't know how well breastfeeding on the wards will go over with your attending.

My husband and I had that problem. We moved out of our 1400 sq ft house when my older daughter was not quite a year because we just didn't fit anymore. And the house literally had no storage (no garage, only a couple closets).

We have 2200 sq ft now and two more bedrooms than the first house and it is much better.

Whichever edition they were sending out when I signed up for the class last September. 😛 I'll go look when I get back downstairs.

I'm having my daily ritual of hiding upstairs from the babies while my husband watches them downstairs. I usually stay up here until my laptop battery is about dead or I hear too much screaming downstairs. :laugh:
